Custodial Services
What routine office cleaning does custodial services do?
- MFCB, WIMR, WARF and UW Health University Hospital: Custodial staff cleans workspaces once per week. Typical office cleaning includes emptying trash and recycling bins (daily) and light dusting.

Furniture
How do I get rid of office furniture?
- Repurposing furniture or equipment: Email domops@medicine.wisc.edu.
- Surplus with a Purpose (SWAP: See the Furniture and Capital Equipment Policies and Procedures.
- UW Health University Hospital only: If you want to send the furniture or equipment to the JWSS Warehouse, submit a UW Health Maintenance Request.
Lost and Found
Where is my building's lost and found located?
- MFCB: A drop box is in the mailroom on the first floor, between the mailboxes and entrance to the loading dock. If you need access to the mailroom, email Andrew Heup (andrew.heup@wisc.edu).
- WIMR: A box in the hall near the loading dock. Expensive valuables are left at the HSLC Security Office. Questions? Email David Downing (djdowning@wisc.edu).
- WARF: A box in the lobby near the elevators. Questions? Email Anne Bogan (anne.bogan@wisc.edu).
- UW Health University: G7/216 and managed by Guest Services. Keys, valuables, cash, and cell phones are secured in the Security Office (E6/2 lobby). Hours are Monday - Friday, 7am - 4pm. Call 608-504-4892 for assistance.

How do I obtain a new office key or replace one that was lost?
Do I need to be onsite when the repair technician arrives?
- This depends on the nature of the request. After your work order is submitted, the maintenance technician will contact you and let you know whether you’re needed on-site.
